There are four choices... so you have 25% chance... but two of them are the right answer, meaning you have 50% chance, but that changes the answer from 25% to 50%... so now you have a 25% chance again... which means you have a 50% chance....

I CAN'T DO IT!

25% is the correct answer.

I understand why someone would say both 25% and 50%...

What I don't understand is how you can arrive at one answer without looping into infinity...

There is 0% chance you will be able to guess the answer to this question correctly, because the answer and question are not discrete (that is, answering the question changes the conditions of the question).

Assuming the actual correct answer is also random, it's 37.5%.

Either 50% chance correct answer is 25, so 50% chance of picking correctly, OR
50% chance correct answer is not 25, so 25% chance of picking correctly.

Total odds are 25% for 1st scenario (50% chance of picking an answer that has 50% chance of being correct), 12.5% for second scenario (25% chance of picking an answer that has 50% chance of being correct).

Since it's either scenario 1 or scenario 2, add the 2 odds together to get total chance of picking correct answer = 37.5%.

That's what I think too and for the same reason.
Only didnt see 37.5% as a possible answer.
