Back to the Future

Re: Favorite 80's Movie
Posted by: Radiophile ()

Fast Times
Rock and Roll High School
Quadraphenia - ok a 70s movie about 1963, but still deserves to be on all "best of"
Dazed and Confused - made later but about the 80s
Repo Man - the Pre-quel to Pulp Fiction
Peggy Sue Got Married - actually a not bad movie, and takes place in the 80s with 50 nostalgia.

Fairfaxunderground rules: Lilliputions, not ok. Midgettville ok. I got it now.

Ok you get bonus points because some scenes were shot fairly locally. And Ally Sheedy at the cutest she will ever be.

Better Off Dead

War Games

Weird Science

Last Starfighter,,,,

Damn I finally figured out the movie I was racking my brain on and it was made in'79

The movie was Over the Edge with a young Matt Damon,,,almost like a documentary, talk about a movie that brings you to the time,,,No cell phones, internet, cable tv ,,,just bored kids in a "perfect" suburban setting,,,

Highly recommended

16 Candles
Better off Dead (I want my $2.00)
Weird Science
Meatballs
Heathers
Sure Thing
War Games

On and on and on. That's what cable needs, the equivalent of xm radio where there's an "Only 80's Movies" channel. Today's stuff sucks.
