My niece made up this forum, she meant no harm, she was asking a honest question, The reason she said they are punk rock is that is what they were listed under, not everyone is out to be a troll and start a punk war guys ..LOL ... Some people on here are not out to be a asshole.

Music genres are pretty silly, but if I were to classify Green Day, I'd call them pop-punk. However, I still don't believe you are serious. Your ridiculous user name pretty much gives it away that you are trolling.

Green Day will probably end up in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, while members of Bowling for Soup will probably end up in the Jani Lane Hall of Fame. That should give you an idea of which is better.

I saw Bowling For Soup on some random DirecTV channel - like channel 101 or something. They were playing a concert in some sort of studio like American Bandstand. There was about 50 people max. It looked dreadful.

I despise the changes they've made since American Idiot came out. They used to be a fun band until they started bitching and moaning about politics in their songs. Why so serious, Billie Joe?

No doubt they've become a much bigger band since that album though. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the hall R&R Hall of Fame one day.

I saw them at the Fairfax Fair a couple years ago. That's pretty much the place where washed-up bands go to play.
