WASHINGTON - A Manassas woman is being held without bail after police say she assaulted family members who confronted her about taping a baby's mouth shut.
Manassas police say Kristina Leigh Moore, of the 9200 block of Hood Road, assaulted several victims on Wednesday after they approached her about a July 30 incident in which Moore allegedly taped an infant family member's mouth shut to keep the child from crying.
Victims tell police Moore became irate when they confronted her and assaulted them.
After an investigation, Manassas police charged Moore, who is also known as Christina Johnson, with felony child abuse.
