What's the oddest food you have eaten for breakfast?

Currently, I am baking some pizza with mac&cheese and steamed veggies...

I once ate a Hamburger from Glory Days once at 8 AM... BAHRGLGFFGG

Ate this for breakfast on last year's Vegas trip. Good stuff. The weirdest part was eating a salad at 8 in the morning, but the prime rib was just fine.

Leftover/refrigerated onion rings from the previous night's dinner. I'm not big on reheating.

Looks like a fine breakfast to me. Hopefully you washed it down with a few beers.

Yup. It was a comfortable plane ride home.

Piglet intestine soup with cubes of congealed pork blood: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_l_yk10bCu5U/SOiIlEzr6TI/AAAAAAAABNI/p-o412iYeUg/s400/Pork+offal2.jpg

At least, I =think= the "intestines" were from a piglet.

The soup and intestines were very good; I'm not a fan of pork blood, however.

Chili, grilled chicken/shrimp, beer, and freezing cold jager at a tailgate. I think I also had some cake.

Another time I had leftover Hooters wings for breakfast. No, I didn't reheat them. No celery, but I did have bleu cheese.

One time I woke up after a night of drinking and ate a whole container of hummus (with Stacy's Pita Chips).

Served 24 hrs a day at The Victorian Cafe in Bill's Gambling Hall. Used to be cheaper but it's still a good meal for $15.99. Play some slots before-hand so you can get a free drink and then just carry it in with you.

One of my roommates in college used to do that. He'd hit 10 cent wing nite and order 100 wings, then keep them in the fridge all week and eat them cold before heading to class in the morning. They were usually crappy wings too, mostly skin and really fatty. It was gross.

I've got you all beat...no surprise...I've had the displeasure of being an honoured guest several times and had to sit down for breakfast and eat kaleh pache (sp) - it's basically a sheep's head, and you eat everything. As the guest of honour I was given the "choice morsels". The cheek meat is made into a soup and it's not too bad, the broth is sheep head bits in cheek meat but I could manage that.

The brain you eat with a squeeze of lemon and or lime and on bread. I had difficulty swallowing it and it came back up a few times...but managed to be proper about it and get it down the gullet.

The tongue was edible similar to cow tongue, was a bit rough but again edible.

I had to draw the line at the eyeballs - god. Just couldn't do it.

F-ing eye looking at you. I remember all the men had a good laugh at me for not eating it but - sometimes you just have to bow out. Here is a photograph of what gets presented to you as you sit down to eat. Mmmm...good stuff!

Hey, Brit, have you ever been to Indonesia and eaten monkey toes? I enjoyed a molecule or two of this dish, once. Now, that's good stuff.

Long ago, my husband and I would wake up before dawn, head to a secluded spot on the beach and swim naked in the ocean as the run was rising.
While drying off on a blanket we’d drink champagne and eat hummus with pita bread and carrots.
Then, we’d go home and fall back to “sleepâ€, with the windows open and the salty air caressing our skin. oh.. so nice.

You're lucky a shark didn't get you. They love hummus filled swimmers.

We ate after we swam, so we were safe. My only concern was that someone would wonder along the beach and we we'd be stuck in the water indefinitely.

I used to do a lot of business travel to China. And I mean interior China - not coastal China. Chonqing, Xi'an, Chengdu, etc. You go to some hotels - they're large hotels - but ones where you might a westerner there once a week. They're like going to Hiltons and Hyatts for Chinese.

Breakfast is almost always included in the rate. But god. Jellyfish, konjee, warm milk, Nescafe, duck intestines, some unknown and sauced vegetables, etc.

Typical Westerners have real acclimation issues to Chinese food on two meals: breakfast and, if it is served, dessert.

I love congee (aka water rice):

congee

because you can do so much with it (I actually have an entire cookbook dedicated to it!).

Similarly, there is "salty bean juice" (aka soy milk) :

With chopped you tiao (aka crullers):

either is totally yummy.

chicken livers, hog brains scrambled with eggs. turtle, fish, frog, snake, beetles and possibly a chunk of Panamanian or two, depending on the duration of the mission.
