Feel Good Story of The Day

It's a story like this that restores my faith in humanity. Of course, the feeling is quickly ruined by some self-centered asshole and it's back to square one.

It was nice to read, even though I found it kind of funny that fellow nerdy folks are referred to as "these people". Unfortunately, I am certain the caps-lock warriors will soon sweep in and demolish the kid

Let's give her a plasma lightsaber, then she can slice bullies in half!

What a kickass story, and a cool little kid :-)

I was big into Star Wars as a kid myself, but so were most of my friends in the neighborhood. Back in the 80's at least, everyone was into it. I also grew up on the whole Star Trek thing too (Next Generation). I never faced any bullying over it, but I'm glad that folks are standing by this girl.

That is a great story. I belive ThinkGeek is based in Fairfax too - so it fits rather nicely here. ThinkGeek also makes this Tauntaun sleeping bag. When you unzip it, the interior material looks like vicera.

Yep, that is the one. It is around a $100 though. As cool as that would be for a kid, it is not $100 cool.

STUPID SAPPY STORY.

WE MUST BE HAVING A NEWS DROUGHT.

WHAT PISSES ME OFF ABOUT THIS IS THE STORY INCLUDED A LINK
TO A GOV WEBSITE THAT REMINDED ME THAT GAYS WANT SPECIAL RIGHTS THAT
IMPLICITLY PROTECT THEM.

WHY THE FUCK SHOULD YOUR SEXUAL ORIENTATION WARRANT SPECIAL LAWS?

TALK ABOUT DISCRIMINATION.

That's nice. To finish the story, she needs an older brother to beat the snot out of kids who pick on his sister.
