last night on facebook, a facebook thread "Only In Japan" remarked their road crews were most efficient always fixed any problem "same day it appeared", showing a similar area and a road crew

is this Tokyo humor?

(ps - this is not particularly a Japan SNAFU gov creating a sinkhole and taxpayer falling in it. Japan has a long history of sinkhole problems the soil in that area is susceptible to creating surprises.)
