Hi General
Yesterday I did get me a bit of enjoyment by hearing the rain fall on the roof in the morning as I slept late. Soothing sounds , yes. Now I have had enough of the rain an clouds. The sunroof on the Vibe is dripping an giving me Chinese water torture as I drive. I have to leave a 5 gallon bucket on the seat when it is parked till I can get it sealed. The Vibe also needed a axle shaft so it was back in the shop earlier this week.
I was planning on going fishing today but we will have to see if passage creek is too rough to fish. I mite have to settle for a fish sandwich at Arbys.
Maybe we are under attack by sinister shit from hell.

Well I runned over to Elizabeth Furnace and passage creek is flowing too strong to fish in my opinion. I seen a couple good old boys tryin to fish. I asked one guy if he was having any luck and he says "I aint caught nothin but a buzz" as he took a hit off of a joint. That gave me a little chuckle but I warned him that the game warden comes through there a lot and the wacko tobbaco is still illegal on national forest lands.
Guess Ill go get me a Arbys fish sandwich.

From what I hear them park rangers and forest rangers and game wardens don't play if they catch you with weed on federal lands but it seems to me that if you ain't acting up and causing any trouble they leave you alone. If you got a campsite with trash on the ground and a fire way too big and you are makin noise they are going to come and fuck with you if they see you. I know a guy who got busted with weed on Manassas battlefield and the feds put him on a crazy program of random piss tests and classes he had to pay for that rocked his world for a hole year then they dropped the charges. Little bit of weed cost him thousands of dollars and a lot of aggravation. That was a few years ago, maybe they go easier on that now. It is my understanding that weed is just as illegal as ever on federal lands but it all depends on how hard they want to enforce it.

Well anyways I am enjoying the cool temps out here today. I am going to smoke some chicken thighs on the old Weber kettle here in a bit and gonna make steamed baby carrots and broccoli. No Trails in site today unless maybe there are so many trails that they look like clouds.

We are under attack by tourists again. They done had some parade in town earlier.

good to know, eye ain't never ceen no park rangers out your way ever but eye always head straight for the hills, never chill along the creek....one can certainly avoid a lot of problems in life by simply acting like they been somewhere...

eye had a dream the other night that eye was stranded in New York City and eye was on my way to the bus station and eye sparked a blunt eye rolled with this weed this guy gave me in a brown paper bag and eye was at first concerned about getting locked up smoking so blatantly in crowded midtown in public but then eye remember, its 2024 NYC....you can stab someone and be free the next day...

back in the 90s they would lock you up for smoking cannabis and you would have to go through "the tombs"...if it happened on the a late friday night, you would have to wait until monday...the police ceemed to really enjoy it when they could get privileged and scared out of towners on a charge...DC cops were different though...back in the 90s you could smoke a blunt right in front of them and they wouldn't do shit...

Hey General
Dreams are funny things. I rarely smoked weed when I worked for the county cause they would piss test us if we wrecked a truck or got hurt on the job. After my wife passed away I didn't care about losing my job anymore and I found the weed kept me from having dreams about her so I started using it every night. Those last couple years of work I lucked out an never got tested. You know they never drug tested teachers and I always thought that was unfair. I know some teachers that smoke the hell out of that shit.

It is still pretty overcast out here today but at least it ain't raining. I ran a bead of silicone around the sun roof of the Vibe. Those damn sun roofs always leak on older cars. I got lucky on the junkyard fender we put on the Vibe as it is almost the same color as the rest of the car. Even after I had the axel shaft replaced I still came out 300 dollars ahead of the game with the money Geico paid me.

As far as the smoking on federal lands, I was camped in the George Washington national forest a couple years ago and a ranger came by and set and had coffee with us. He told me of a thing he called "Purple recreation" and as long as citizens respect the land they simply don't care what you are doing as long as you do it in the wild lands and not at some developed campground or picnic area. He said there is a socital need for a certain amount of purple recreation.

yeah, eye ain't shmoked or 8 edibles in a few weeks now and my dreams are poppin...its intense...and some of the dreams are not fun at all, a few are nightmares...but at least om not suppressing it...there is messages and hints in these dreams...even instructions...om glad om confronting it....
