After 20 years of having a cost free take home company car I now have to commute on my own dime. Commute is Burke to Marshall VA. need 35 hwy mpg. I am a fat guy 6ft 3in 330#.
I can get into a toyota matrix or a ford focus. Honda fit is too tight and the steering wheel would rub holes in the front of all my work shirts. Any other ideas besides going on a diet?

LOL It's always funny when obese people ride motorcycles, especially when I see them ride scooters.
That guy is making that Hog look like a scooter. ^ ^ ^

No car exists that a guy that fat will fit into and will also get that mileage. A old Crown Vic is real cheap and the money saved buys mucho gas.

as a large man myself, If you're all about the gas mileage - I loved my 2002 VW Passat GLX with a 5 speed manual transmission... I was able to get 36 miles per gallon consistently!
I searched for a clean Buick roadmaster<94-96> feels good I look good I cut back on other things to softin the gas bill not to bad Good Luck Brother

How about a Camry? The 4 cyl model is rated at 35 hwy.Honda Accord is bigger inside but the mileage is a little less.
Crown Vics aren't bad.I used to get 28 hwy out of my 92 model.
Running around nova I got 22-23.

First step sue McDonalds for making you fat. Second, take court winnings and buy a second home near Marshall for your work week usage.
VW is bringing back the bus. Buy the one with the smallest, most efficient engine.

But can you get out of a toyota matrix or ford focus?
I'd see about buying one of your company's fleet cars.

Think about a Toyota Highlander. The electric driver seat gives you much more headroom than the reg. seat . I get 23-24 on the road w/ 4wd, or so they call it. It is actually a FWD that automatically switched to AWD or can be switched manually with a button. Seemed good in snow this year too

I know a fatso guy who is now skinny.
The car he drove that works very very very well for obese is the dodge challenger.
No shit!
Go to any used car dealership and sit in one.
