Today is Memorial Day when we are supposed to honor our dead who served in our US armed forces . Some were men who landed on the beach on the morning of June 6Th 1944 in landing craft that when the door went down on the beach German machine gunners in bunkers fireing the Devils Buzzsaw German MG42 fast firing machine guns shot the brave US soldiers down before they could get off the boat never able to fire a shot to save their lives

And there are those who served in peacetime who never saw war during their two years of service or even one day before they were injured or killed in training

They are all our American vets remember their sacrifices and service to our country as they defended and upheld our constitution at risk of their lives

When one puts their right hand up and takes the oath to our constitution they never know what will come in the future during their time of service
