Proud Boys lawyers filed for a mis-trial Monday after the jury was allowed to see footage of the January 6th riot that showed assaulting of officers. Defense lawyers argued that the video was not directly showing their clients and could taint the juries opinions of January 6th being peaceful.

The judge ruled that evidence was cleared by both defense and prosecution lawyers and there was no grounds for mistrial. The judge said if the defense lawyers didn't want it presented they should have objected when the evidence signed off on by both parties.
