PETITION OPPOSING THE 45% INCREASE IN BOARD SALARIES


While families in Fairfax are struggling with high inflation and a 50 percent increase in County taxes over the last 10 years, several members of the Board of Supervisors are pushing to give themselves a 45% pay raise in a budget that does not address the staffing crisis in public safety and gives county employees a 2% increase. The Board is already the highest paid in Virginia and this is a part time job. You get a tax increase, the board gets a raise. Will you sign this petition to join me in requesting my fellow members oppose this pay raise?
