go with the Evo. Everyone and their brother are going to have that mustang in the next year or 2.. they will be seen everywhere since they are cheaper than past mustangs and nicer looking and more hp. with the evo you will be driving a sweet ride that not many people have. and not many people realize how nice it really is.

The new Mustangs make me drool. Now the V6 version is as powerful and quick as the former V8 GT model, which says a lot in terms of how Ford has progressed. Previously when I was buying a car, my choices were between the Subie WRX/STI, Muscle cars (Terminator Cobra, and GTO), or a Nissan Touring Sports-Sedan/Sports car. I REALLY loved the modability and AWD of the STI, but in the end, I couldn't stand the wing (It's cool, but not my style).

Basically, the EVO MR is a cool ride, but it comes down to how they feel, and which one you think looks better. The Mustang won't have any acceleration turbo-lag, but it will have worse fuel mileage. The MR will be a great snow car, whereas the Mustang not so much. Both have huge modification abilities. I believe the MR has Xenon HID's, which I don't think the Mustangs do. The MR will be easier to toss around a circuit course, but with the Mustang you can own the drag racing scene.

The choice is up to you. Drive both, and then decide (Since you seem to have already decided though, it's whatever).

My personal choice would be the 2011 Mustang (V6 or V8).




As for 2012, if the world is going to end, what can any of us do about it? Get your car, and have a blast!

Ford first regressed and then in 2011 progressed back to where they were at in like '95/'96. although i think the mustang had a 4.9 then but once the old school charger, challengers and that chevy design came out over the last few years, ford had to keep up. it is a very nice car... with the mustang i'd only get it with the California Special package add-on for the gt. still nice either way.

With the exception of the 2003-4 Cobra, the 5.0 Mustang GT is the 1st decent Mustang in a VERY long time. Not 4.9L, 4.6L (completely shitty engine)

The Mitsubishi is more reliable, but since the world is ending in two years, go with the Mustang.
