What home renovation or repair things will you always call a professional to perform? Why won't you mess around with it yourself?

You know, when it comes to renovation, I always hire specialists. I tried to do some things by myself but it was a bad idea. Ha ha my neighbors downstairs are also doing bathroom renovation. They cut off the water supply to replace the pipes, so not my WC pan is no longer working. Shall I sue them?
