Why give these people false hope?

They are just waiting for an update or feedback.

Send an e-mail or LinkedIn message. It takes only a few seconds.

Job seekers know that rejections are not the end of the road. Give them closure next time.

Recruiters job want to keep people around so they can send them on another interview. It's all about the number of people you can send.
