Memorial Day

So, what did everyone do for the occasion?

I just had a BBQ, and chilled with the fam. Had some shrimp and Champagne, then BBQ ribs, corn on the cob (Silver Queen, the best), and of course the potato salad (The mustard based yellow type). What a feast.

I wanted to check out the parade Downtown as well, but it didn't work out.

I went down to Arlington Cemetery and while they were changing the guards I started singing "The Unknown Soldier" by The Doors.

No, sorry Mr. Misery, I couldn't be a mee-maw. But, if that's what you're into, go volunteer at a nursing home.
