Why didnt Meade perform for the revival in DC?

Would his dad not let him go? Meade could have sung "Lord Get Me To Church" to a captive audience of Bible believers. This would have been good exposure for him.

Lord Get Me To Church sounds like a vacation bible school song. This was a reverent prayer rally. Also Meade might have some explaining to do as to why he quit his job on the first day .God doesn't like sloth.

He hasn't been a regular churchgoer in years.
He has been 'between churches' too long, he is going to have some explaining to do.
When Meade does explain, and starts bringing up his attacks by demons... Good Christians will start rebuking HIM!

In his short-lived video he once again pronounced it his CALLING to get paid to sing, not work in some shitty warehouse.
He still does not have the necessary attitude to go find a job and actually hold it down.

90% of the people who are sure they know what 'God's calling' is for themselves are just listening to their own ego and claiming it is the voice of God. No one can speak for God, including both Meade and me, but somehow Meade's life is shitty. He is 41 years old and his is still in the position that his father can ground him. This isn't his father's fault, it is Meade's fault for putting off becoming a functioning adult. Somehow, I don't think that is God's plan for Meade. Meade is also beleaguered by Demons. This is not a sign of having a healthy spiritual connection. He wants to go into 'singing ministry'. He is going to need a flock of people who believe in his relationship with God. The facts show Meade is a very confused man who can't run his own life. People are not going to come to him for advice running theirs. At least his self will is only hurting himself. People like Harold Camping and David Koresh thought they knew what God's plan was for them and they both hurt others.
