Liberals have apologized for Slavery, Black face skits, and Amos and Andy Radio Show (the guys doing the bit were Democrats). "Song of the South" movie was typical South and all Democrats. Republicans during that time, living South, were usually visited by Knights of the Klan, they were not many.

There weren't a lot of Republicans in the south until the 1960s when the Democrats embraced civil rights over the objections of the Southern Democrats. Most Southern Democrats left the Democratic party, started a failed party, the Dixiecrats, and eventually many wound up becoming Republicans. 'Song of the South' is 75 years old. It is kind of fucking dumb to think that the status quo when it was made is still around today.

Even Ted Danson wore blackface when he was Whoppie Goldberg 25 years ago.
