SEC (federal agency responsible to arrest stock fraud agents) is run in NYC - the place where the fraud is, during clinton

massive frauds erupted and are still ongoing, search for: RE: more Clinton era scandals

One fraud was the refusal of companies to provide their dividend history and publishers to publish it. It was a big media SEC NYC scam in the late 80's and 90's

Eventually (at long last), online publishers began publishing "expensive purchased data" for free for anyone to see (thus you can see dividend history - where in my generation, you'd be shot for publishing it unless it happened to look good)

there were financial articles back then (still in storage) of shareholders complaining they could not get ANY NEWS of dividents before investing, and also of the total loss of control of dividends (to CEOs who were NOT elected didn't own the company - another "Clinton rip-off wonder")
