i completed a degree in computer science and had a minor in math, but i like to keep it simple.

the area/sum under a curve gives the total.

a flat curve has the same area as a tall curve, but it takes more time.

the entire purpose of "flattening" the curve was to buy time, not cut down on deaths

fauci admitted this in the beginning, but as it became apparent that the original simulation to estimate deaths was total garbage (off by a factor 2000% at least) he then changed flattening the curve into falsely taking credit for the much lower death total
