The idea Democrat politicians have their tendrils in PLANNED SHORTAGES (where the supplies go in their depot), isn't out of the question: they most likely are still doing it exactly as stated.
I'm quite sure in my area supplies were intently removed from the shelf RIGHT AFTER coronavirus was mentioned. Items that don't sell well (cigarettes) went from being piled to the top of the shelf to "almost gone" overnight. (as I said, sales are bad and kids can't afford to smoke these days they are un-affordable - meaning the stores are often over-supplied if not getting stale and needing to be thrown out)
GONE - OVERNIGHT - that happens when you have THEFT or devious owners - NOT OTHERWISE.
