Do I really have to worry about this? MS says they will not have anymore security updates for windows 7 and are offering windows 10 for free. But I do not want windows 10. I think it is a bunch of BS.

Then don't worry about it. I don't see a problem if your identity isn't worth stealing.

Windows 10 is great. It will cost you an arm and a leg to buy it after your computer stops working. Better to get it now while it is being offered free. They do the de-install/reinstall for you, but you will need to respond when their invitation comes to you. Unless you are running a pirated version of Windows 7, then they will not replace it for you free.
