It is believed that the texts on the personal phone will show that Trump was arranging secret meetings with members of the State Department.

According to the individual and two congressional aides, Sondland, Taylor and former U.S. envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker also used the encrypted messaging app WhatsApp, in addition to regular text messages, to communicate about the administration's Ukraine efforts. The use of WhatsApp has raised questions about the potential problems it could pose for complying with federal record-keeping requirements.

Trump completely fucked up the Dem's plans for this by just releasing the transcript. They had a whole roll-out planned for the first 'whistleblower' and others to follow. But they can't give up on it now so they just continue to roll along like it never happened. lol!
