A new report claims that Android flashlight apps are requesting a large number of permissions on every install, giving them access to huge amounts of device information. For example, 180 different flashlight apps request access to your contacts list. Steam games too (currently most popular games website), often ask for administrator access, though most games do not need it. The company admits to being asked why and has officially denied answering.

The phones also allow asia, india, iran, other nasties to directly take advantage of bugs and back doors: especially asia who "owns all top processes" running on the phone: the hardware drivers aren't even in english neither is the hardware.

Don't need a flashlight app. Most Android phones come with a standard built-in flashlight setting in the notifications dropdown bar.
