Let me give you some expert advice on taking a shit

I've got two main tenets that I subscribe to when it comes to going number two;

1. Don't do it on your time

2. Don't do it on your dime

Whenever I take a shit, I always make sure to do it at work, at the mall or at someone elses home. It saves money. My water expenses consist mainly running the dish washer, doing laundry, showering etc. I estimate I save about $50 a month by refraining from taking a shit at home. Only in emergencies will a pinch a loaf on my dime.

Take a dump on company time. Take a dump when your on a date. If you must, take a dump outside. I've taken numerous shits on the trail while going for a run. It's better for the environment and you get a real thrill trying to avoid being seen by someone.

Let me know when you are ready to move your game up a level.

I live in Fairfax, but drive to DC simply to take shits there and send it to their sewage plants. I haven't shit at home since 2003.

At least it’s better than Gerrymanderer2 and his shitain family shitting in the street in our neighborhood. We called the cops who said it is just their culture and to let them be. Always check neighbors before buying a house.

I live way out in the country with no sewer, and I hate having the tank pumped - don't like digging up the lawn.

So I carefully plan my diet so that I only have to shit during the day, on weekdays, when I am at work.

Thus I shit at home maybe once a year (over Thanksgiving Break). Christmas, I go to mexico, so I am of course shitting (shitting up a storm in fact) at the hotel.

Other vacations I go to Hawaii or Vegas, and so shit out of state.

Haven't pumped the tank in over forty years, and never have to buy those Costco bales of TP!

That's impressive although I think if I were to do a cost/benefit analysis of that, the numbers wouldn't make sense. I live in Providence Square in Fairfax so I have a high density of restrooms to use in the area. Theres two sets of bathrooms in my buildings lobby alone, so I mostly just mosey on down there to get the job done. My second choice is the Starbucks restroom across the street. If I have a case down the street at the Fairfax Court House, I have my own private luxury suite at the 3rd floor restrooms.

It costs me about $2 per quarter for water to flush toilets.
