This habit meade has of picking succesful musicians (and for full disclosure I never gave two fucks about Madonna) and crowing about how they are all washed up or were never that good, as opposed ostensibly to him, is tiresome.

We have heard the the 'Beetles' were never that good but had a good Jew agent and a pact with Satan, Justin Beiber is past his prime, Willie Nelson is irrelevant, and now Madonna can't fill a stadium, and thus these titans of the industry just don't have that much over Meade who is still going strong.

I worked for one washed up guy. A summer hire thing while in college. Always yapping about real programming went out with punchcards and Fortran 4 was the only honest mathematical programming language a person ever needed. He even spent a week trying to get me to learn BASIC.


That said, Meade's railing against successful 'career musicians' comes off as rather petty and sour grapes. We need to compare Meade to Meade. Last year when he started his livestreams he was getting a couple of dozen live viewers. Now he barely breaks 10. He is losing his audience. You cannot argue with their legacy. Everyone from Johnny Cash to Anne Sophie von Otter have recorded their songs. Frank Sinatra and Sarah Vaughn have recorded their songs. The dead Kennedys and Nirvana recorded their sings. Even accomplished songwriters contemporary to the Beatles like Dylan and Richard Thompson have recorded their songs. "All this and world war II" and "Across the Universe" were two movies based on Beatles songs.

Dismissing them as a 'boy band' makes you look really stupid...


On a side note.
Meade would kill for any one of the artists on this album sang one of his Godawful songs. Even Meade's beloved Suzy Boggus boarded the 'Beetles' train for this one.
