CRA's specifically didn't have much to do with it but the overall effects of pressuring the banks to reduce loan requirements did. And you conveniently ignored the rest re MBS and GSEs turning housing loans into speculative vehicles.

CRA-forced subprime loans defaulted at a rate 11.6 times higher than non-subprime loans. Look it up.
