Been watching a nest of young birds in my front yard. Parents picked a hollow in my cherry tree. It was about 6 feet off the ground. I enjoyed the sound of the chicks chirping for food all day and the momma and papa bird feeding them all the time. Today a crow was eating one of the parents on the sidewalk below the nest. I looked in the hollow in the tree and there was a big snake in there killing the other parent bird. Pushed it out of the nest 20 min later. Snake is just chillin in there now. I assume he ate all the chicks.

I buried the parents as the trash doesnt come till Tues.
