Help me help my friends mom beat cancer. Shannon has been battling lymphoma for 17 years, undergone radiation 7 times, and lost her hair. Unfortunately the cancer has now spread to her esophagus and bones requiring immediate medical attention. Unfortunately for Shannon though due to the pain she suffers from she is no longer able to work full time, thus losing her insurance and she was denied Medicaid. She now faces 10,000 dollars in medical bill debt alone and will need another 10,000 to cover treatment to stop this progression of the cancer. What's surprising is that the guy actually wrote certain things in the GoFundMe that would lead anyone familiar with these types of cases to know that this is likely a scam.

She may have cancer, but they are clearly lying about some aspects of this.

Not lying and happy to show compliance in any way. The mother is in Facebook and has well documented her journey through all this for years now. Sadly this family has been devastated with this cancer now having spread. I expected trolls and take no offense to it. Just in desperate need of help and looking to get any coverage or prayers at all since any bit helps.

I know the son and two of his friends. This money is definitely not going to wind up anywhere other than in their arms and up their noses. Someone needs to shut this down. Does GoFundMe even care what's really going on here?
