It seems to mean that this should have made gerry and eesh natural allies, especially given eesh's liberal political tendencies, and yet IIRC the two did NOT like one another.

Is it simpyl that gerry can nto get along with anybody? Or is there a whole deeper layer to the FFU drama that I do not understand? (Or have time to learn about.)
