it'd became practice that companies attracted workers by "retirement pay promises" and would fire them 1 year before the 30 year promised - in the 80's. at the same time Congress, instead of fixing this issue, made a Congressional retirement system requiring only 2 or 4 years of service for retirement pay THAT NEVER FAILS. a big fuck you to working america.

But during CLINTON a new phenomenon. the "everything comes with a false legal document you have to sign" era.

During this it became law that after 2 yr employer must pay $2,000 "incase their employees became fired" (many still argue the law was written to CAUSE firing). It became that everything was so legal you wanted to fire employees merely because the longer they were employed the more likely it was they'd win a lawsuit. It also involved PAY RAISES.

DURING CLINTON, CLINTON DEMOCRATS CHANGED ALL THAT: fire anyone (not on the take) before the 2 yr mark to reduce "liabilities".

BEFORE CLINTON IT WAS COMMONPLACE TO MEET PEOPLE WHO'D WORKED FOR THE SAME MADE IN USA EMPLOYER THEIR WHOLE LIFE (retirement pay perhaps not included)

AFTER CLINTON IT WAS COMMONPLACE the average worker was shifted around into jobs that (currently today) DO NOT PAY A LIVING WAGE - and require food stamps and rent aid and medical aid - which these corrupt democrat run companies don't pay except indirectly (not at all - if they seize control and make Republican businesss pay more tax than they do: a debt war).

AFTER CLINTON: YOU FIND PEOPLE NO LONGER WERE PAID ENOUGH TO LIVE AND HAD WORKED FOR SEVERAL COMPANIES - NONE PAYING WORTH SHIT

all by "legal decree and shift layers" ... the new "unemployement business tax" and the lack of any court action against companies that fire anyone due for a raise (promised a raise, promised a future)
