i never saw that product - i don't think it ever was released in fairfax
here's a better question
onion rings and fried calamari rings became popular around the same time and mc'donalds wanted in on that market
what popular food chains made onion rings and fried calamari popular enough all restaurants considered adding them to the menu?

I don’t remember ever seeing McOnion Nuggets. I do like onion rings and wish we had a Sonic close by!
I swore off all McNasty food a while ago and feel way way better as a result.

Onion nuggets were on the menu in the 1970s. They sucked.

Ever have Popeye's onion rings? They are a little heavy on the batter, and they don't start cooking them until you order, but they are worth the wait.

Thanks for the tip. I think there is a Popeye’s in Greenbriar (?). I’ll check out the onion rings.
