are bathtubs really a good idea in homes as opposed to walk-in showers?
* people slip and die in them in droves
* babies drown in them in droves
* as far as i know: they are NEVER modernly used in emergency to "store water for drinking", which is supposedly a engineering safety point
* they don't really "save water", no-one reuses bath water anymore!!
(they say you can throw a baby out with the bath water!)

* bathtub water controls (ie, flesh burning hot) are in a baby's reach, while walk-in showers knobs are usually higher
* keep your feet on the ground. if your baby is on the ground there isn't as far to fall (though they often do anyhow)
