I just signed my furlough papers and now I'm getting the fuck out of here for a few days.

Heading to The Outerbanks for a few days.

Hopefully all the private industry workers will enjoy their easy commute to work with the Gov't off.

Have fun. OBTW, Gerry Connolly, who voted to shut the government down, tried to bring a vote to the floor that would ensure government workers who don't report will still get paid. This was shot down. Badly. Might not get the back pay this time if you aren't essential and having to report.

to add insult to injury, any lost TSP contributions will NOT be made up. And the compound interest that will be lost on those contributions are gone as well.

Thanks Chuck, Timmy, Mark and Gerry for fucking all us government workers who vote for you all the time. We'll take it in the ass again - just like when Obama wouldn't give us any COLAs for 3 years and then gave us a total of <4% for the other 5 years, even after the private sector was back to big raises.

Niggers don't contribute to the TSP, so their votes are safe.

I knew it would not last. You can't make plans. I always do a staycation. Hey, the February shutdown is right around the corner.

I heard Schumer announce that if a budget is not passed by Feb. 8th then the Senate would immediately begin talks about "immigration"
Wait isn't that going to be Deja Vu?

The Feb shutdown should be quite a bit longer.

Its the Dems holding up the budget by tying an extraneous issue to it.
