Cravens plans to play in the 2018 season. Recall on the eve of the season opener, Cravens abruptly announced his retirement before being convinced by front office staff to reconsider. It is speculative whether Redskins Park wants Cravens on the roster.

The timing here sure is interesting...on a week coming off a game where the Redskins' safeties were repeatedly torched.

I would not bring this guy back. You should not draft players who quit in college and you should not bring back players to your team when they quit on you.

And maybe he had some legit mental health issues he was dealing with...the juice is simply not worth the squeezing or the risk.
