Why do black folks always speak "like dis, b/c dats how we be talk'n?" I mean, they live in America, are surrounded by proper english 24/7, and yet it is prominent in the black community. Chinese immigrants, mexicans, and others never speak this way.
What's up with this? I guess i heard it called ebonics once. any thoughts?
