Ripped from today's comic strip...we spend $180 million per day....$65 billion per year to fight in Afghanistan alone! And we cant afford health care? If providing a basic health care to every US citizens is defeated based on the "fact" that we cant afford it....then Osama has truly won...and we have been fools fighting a battle on his turf....with him on the high ground.

Yep, you're right Vince - it's time to fold up shop and grab a Koran.

That's it, Bin Laden has won!

Well maybe thats what you see as the alternative. I see it a little diferently....we are not going "win" by ignoring the facts...we are playing into Bin Laden's original strategy...drain us financially...the real battle isnt for land...nor friendly governemnts in far away lands. The battle is here at home..how healthy our economy is...how well our educational system works..how well we provide for the health of our citizens. When we are strong at home...we are then influential throughout the world. You often bemone the influence the Chinese have in the world's economies..signing contracts for oil....well, it isnt their military that gives them that kind of influence..it's their economy.

You are a genious in debating strategy..but that doesnt make you right. You can win every debate and still be wrong...as you usually are.

Your arguments are about as old and worn out as you are Vince. You retired from the government, but it certainly didn't mean you became the Farmer's Almanac of truth my boy. "Truth" does not fit into your delusional world. So please, take your tired, sorry, retired ass and go do something useful. You are a drain on the economy if we are paying any money for you to not work.

Hm.... wasn't there a dude who promised to get out of Iraq, Afganistan, etc on TV last year, and as a result he was elected to somewhere? He seemed to be for peace, even got a prize of some sort.

Yeah, he was voted in on a wave of "change". About the only change so far is the "D" when referring to the political party in control, and that now the politician occupying the Whitehouse is not white.

If you hadn't been such a mommy's boy back in the day when you ran from the Draft
you'd be eligible for VA health care now. Cowards don't deserve anything.
