Why were they inducted into rock hall of fame, I only recall 2 hits?
I went to a concert that we thought was going to be white snake, we scalped tickets without thinking, as we entered venue we noticed more than average smell of weed and cartoons being played behind stage, we fucked up and went to a yes concert, never smelled so much skunk weed in my life.

The first concert I attended was Peter Frampton and Yes.
I think it was 1976.

They got in because they are a Great band. Unlike half the RAP ass-holes they let in like Run DMC? Fuck the R & R hall of fame! You couldn't pay me to go that shit hole Cleveland.

Ok so list yes's hits, I only remember like 3 or 4? We all know bands with so many grear albums with 20 to 30 hit songs.
So why does a band with so many unknown songs with only a few hit songs make the rnr hall of fame, tupac had more hits than yes. So when will the "I will walk 500 miles" retards make hall of fame..milli vanilli make it too

How does number of song hits affect a band being inducted? What is your definition of a "hit song"? And how many "hits" does it take to be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame?
Leonard Cohen Was inducted a few years ago. How many "hits" does he have?

Hip hop/rap should have their own hall of fame...thats not rock.
I think run dmc had more hits than yes though!
Im not makin fun of yes...my favorite band to me 90% of songs are good to me, they use to try to stay private, but gonna guess they may have had 2 hit songs per album, which seems average...but how bout bands like metallica that didnt even get air play for many years, I dont even like metallica but think they deserve rnr hall of fame.

Yes is a band that can put out an album and every song is good. It was almost a matter of marketing which songs got promotion for top 40 airplay. For example I think any song on the 90125 album could have been #1.
A talented band producing quality music even with changes in lineup and focus. Their old, middle, and new music is all good.
Fragile, Yes, Tormato, Tales from Topographic Oceans. They are incredible musicians who produced great music together. Well-deserved.
