“We haven’t received any kind of notice from the government or Trump’s team, but if it followed the same path that it did in 2006 when Bush built the fence, 70% of our 319 acres would be south of that wall,” Jeremy Barnard, general manager of the River Bend Resort & Golf Club, told the FOX Business Network.

He said the wall would also impact over 200 residents and 15 of 18 holes on the golf course would be “swallowed up.”

That makes no sense. If the golf course is in both countries do you need a passport to play?

Many landowners have land that spans the US/Mexico border. They place a fence on the southern most parts so their land is interrupted. A lot of farmers fields span both sides of the border.

Trump's idea on the wall is put doors in with pass codes. Yes, I know, what a joke.

They should make golfing illegal. It's a complete waste of time.

330,000,000 people vs 200 "residents".

Would all 200 of those residents be legal citizens of the US or Mexico? Or is it a mix?

Doesn't matter really. They should have surveyed the land more thoroughly prior to building.

There was a time not too long ago that you could not own land in Mexico if you weren't Mexican. You had to hire an agent to own it for you. I guess that's changed now.

If the wall impacts "residents" then those "residents" are Mexicans.

It's not just that one golf course. It about 30 golf courses and also hundreds of farmers fields. How secure do think a wall is going to be with hundreds of doors for land owners???
