Did Meade Skelton purposely set out to ruin his own career?

Meade's career was taking off a few years ago until he started becoming known for his racist and homophobic comments. It seems like he shot himself in the foot. Once his racist rant at Kroger's was posted, he lost tons of gigs. His "rva" twitter fanboys abandoned him, and he was never able to bounce back from that. His latest album "Coffee Shop Country" was a complete flop. He's now mainly known for his ode to Donald Trump, which only has 1700 views.

He has no gigs lined up at all for 2017. Its almost as if he wanted to fail.

Meade could be doing a show five miles from you but you'd never know it. He's like a whirlwind, he blows through and everybody shakes their head, saying What was that?

Meade is a performance art genius. He always takes a short hiatus to work up more stuff for his act. He always comes back with a fresh new look. He reinvents himself time after time.
