Monique claims she "found Allah" in jail, joins Nation of Islam

Cousin of mine works at the facility she's been held at and said an Imam came to perform a conversation of some inmates who had recently asked to be converted to Islam. The Imam and two other inmates serving as witnesses performed the conversation by asking Monique to recite the shahada. She chose the name Karima Muslimah Shabaaz and is now a member of the Nation of Islam.

Also, prisoners do not get to request people come in to see them.
