It was white America (so I guess the country had come a long way) along with black America who put Obama in office. We had high HOPES...I did, I voted Obama once.
Beyond devastated as to the end result. More was done to divide this country under Obama by his own words and deeds and he's still at it as he leaves office.
"President Obama, speaking at a press conference in Germany, passed up the opportunity Thursday to tamp down the anti-Donald Trump protests back home -- urging those taking part not to remain "silent." he said..."
Why couldn't he just say "While it's their right to peacefully protest, it's time for us to come together and work towards being united as a country.
I guess that would have been too Presidential.
