Take some more pics--side, back, that white thing on the right and around that thing sticking up on the left. Also closeup pics of the wires and where they go.

Idk, train detector that reports a train at the station because the track sensors don't work anymore?? Geiger counter?

If you were going to d a chem/bio attack why would you pick a station with an outdoor platform. Wouldn't using a platform in a tunnel be more effective?

I think I saw those in the Metro Center station a few years ago.

The systems I have installed needed a purge line to periodically calibrate. Wonder how this one works.

Thanks!

I really don't understand what it's doing outside, or why it never moves.

It sounds like it has a compressor inside... it's not loud, but it's definitely doing something.

Its for detecting chemical weapons attack. You will find devices like this around the DC area (not just on metro). I believe this was started after 9/11. It was in the news.

Fart detector. It's there to identify the dirty bastards who enjoy crop dusting the Metro platforms. It's part of Metro's push to clean things up and improve the rider experience. Don't even THINK about ripping ass on Metro anymore.

Remember, Metro is run by niggers. So that whole "shit making sense" thing is out the window. If Barry sends them some shit and says they have to install it, then they install it.

Doing things properly and in a useful and meaningful way has never been part of a nigger's job.
