I actually vote my wallet. I've voted for candidates from both parties in the past and will in the future. I just find it hilarious that when Mitt was running the Trump voters, including tea baggers, were useful to put the RNC candidate over the top so they couldn't afford to dismiss them as mindless dullards. I don't employee workers. I work for a local municipality as an owners rep these days and over see the renovation of government buildings. I'm a government worker. But I do see this everyday and I agree, the bosses are going on the cheap with labor but so is corporate America by moving manufacturing off shore and a big percentage of that activity is brought to you by trade agreements like NAFTA and labor unions.

The general contractors know it is going on, but they have distanced themselves from the legal ramifications. They are also the "job creators", probably more so than the subcontractors who are lower on the chain.

Twenty years ago, construction still employed a lot of folks who would commute from West Va or Pennsylvania and go home on the weekends. There used to be many blacks from Washington coming out to Virginia for work also.

You are right about the manufacturing jobs but both parties are guilty of supporting favored trade status with China, NAFTA and now the Trans-Pacific partnership.
