I got 5 of these things for the blizzard. I cant stop eating them. I cooked up some frozen hamburger that I had and sprinkled it on top along with some left over cheese and onion. These things are great!

I can never get the crust to cook hard though, it remains soft and sticks to the pizza tray.

I had that problem with the first one and I put the next one on a big piece of reynolds release foil then put the foil right on the oven rack. When its done I slide the foil and pizza right on to a big cutting board.

I'll try that. I like them because I can add what I want. The pizza sauce is first rate, I don't use the cheese pack though.

Most Supermarkets have ready mixed pizza dough near the Deli section, most are frozen and need to be thawed. You then roll it out and add whatever: I usually add onions, mushrooms, peppers, some peperoni, 3 cheeses and Papa Pino Pizza sauce or any other they sell in the pasta aisle, and a dash of Itlian salad dressing.

Save your money, Google pizza, make your own dough with flour and yeast (same amt of work as a kit) customize the spice in your sauces and cheeses. Its cheaper, tastes better, and is healthier

Get Boboli. More expensive but worth the money.

You got to mix up your own dough from the dry mix. that is what makes it fun and thats what makes it last in your kitchen cabinet for 2 years.

You people are very low class. I don't know how you can even consider that "food."

Jim Bakker the evangelist sells "survival food" on his program. Why bother when you can buy this and store it for the final Apocalypse along with old Army Rations from the Army/Navy Salvage store. The stuff lasts forever.

Appian Way pizza crust mix was the best mix I ever used, but it's been a long time... I add Don Pepino or Prego pizza sauce, cheese, and any meats and vegetables in the fridge.
Mostly these days I am too lazy to mix the crust and just get a cheap $2.50-$5 frozen pizza and pile it up with supplemental vegis, meat, and cheese.

I like the Chef Boyardee Pizza Kits, but I can't always find them in the store. Amazon sells them, though. I still have to get the mozzarella from the store to add to the pizza, since that cheese packet included in the kit is woefully inadequate.
My favorite is the pepperoni variety.

Food lion and SFW always seem to have them and they are great to keep on hand. I agree with you on the dry cheese, I can eat it in a emergency but I usually sprinkle just a little on and throw the packet in the trash. Putting fresh cheese on top is the way to go. I have never tried the pepperoni kind but I might get one today.

I bake the crust alone for 8 minutes before adding the toppings, it makes the crust extra crispy. Ground beef, real cheese and sweet onion for the win!
