I just saw a commercial for his new album. I commented on how freaky strange he looked. Next day he dies and makes me not proud of my words

Bowie was the most unique solo rock star EVER!

He always had something new on the next go round, always had great musicians behind him and didn't give a shit what other people thought. Unlike todays pop stars, he took pride in his music and lyrics.

He's a smoker. Life expectancy is only about 70. He's had heart surgery and cancer.

He probably had lung cancer. Six heart attacks in one year. I had a tenant who has having respiratory seizures and heart attacks in her last year. When I last saw her before she moved home to be with her family, she knew she was going to die. She soon lost both her legs, and died within three months.

At the very height of his career, he said he did 10 grams of cocaine a day. Probably way too much for his poor liver to take.
