A man armed with a crossbow was brought down by a Colorado Springs police K-9 after he refused to listen to officers Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Ancus Marcius Hoffar Bone had taken a crossbow inside a business on the 2500 block of East Bijou Street and threatened to kill employees about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. When police arrived, they said Bone was in the parking lot across from the business. He dropped the crossbow but would not listen to other commands from officers.
The officers released police dog Diesel, who bit Bone.
Bone received medical attention and was arrested and booked into the El Paso
County jail. He remained in jail Tuesday night on $2,000 bond.
