Trump is an ego maniac and appeals to the wal-mart majority with his rhetoric. It's kind of like Nugent or Limbaugh running. He's a circus act and will never have a chance of being elected and if he wins the nomination will stand as an example of the ass hattery that the Republican Party has become.

Sir a vote for Trump is as good as voting for Clinton.

As for having "done" anything raised a family, put 4 through college, paid my taxes, paid my mortgage, own two houses in short lived the dream. I'm sure you are successful as well so think hard about your kids future when you cast your ballot. These late 16 years have netted our country nothing. Trump would further run us into the ground.

Trump is the Republican conscience. This is a democracy. The people want their voices heard. Maybe they've had enough of being the party that pretends its stupid on every issue.

Gerry trump IS the voice of stupidity. Nothing he says or will say can be taken seriously. He does have a nice place in Boca Grande though. You think he pays social security taxes on the Mexican Crew it takes to run the place. Doesn't matter though because he "loves" them all right.

When polls show him leading the pack from gaining fast then that means hes saying something people want to hear. Whether or not thats good for Republican chances during a general election is up to Republican primary voters to decide.

Gerr that's the point, Trump is saying what republicans, at least the wal-mart variety, want to hear but the question is substance. Does the republican voter honestly think he can build his wall and have Mexico pay for it? The guy is grand standing and the work a day repub is eating it up. That alone should shock the party into rallying around one candidate that has a shot at beating the dems. This won't likely happen though. Based on past nominees the Republican Party looks like a bunch of asshats that has lost touch with reality. That is why I see Paul as a legitimate contender. And I like his policies on bringing jobs home for the U.S. Worker again. We could use some debt reduction and clean up the college mess in this country too and we should socialize health care as well. Doing that would shake things up a bit. Trump is a clown with only self interest in mind. If elected he would give this nation away to corporate America. Fucking pud wack.

Sure, why not. McCain\Palin and Romney got the nomination. Trump will wear out like Ross Perot and Herman Cain did. Trump is the best thing to ever happen to Hillary. He's making the GOP look like a bunch of delusional rich guys.

I think Paul has the best chance to upset the establishment and at least at this point in the campaign the Dems see him as their biggest threat. I also feel that it the time is right for the younger generation to pull off a coup and elect the next generation of candidate. Someone who is not the old guard politician like the bush's or Clitons. This country has had enough of that shit.

It doesn't really matter. Both tickets in the last election will draw much of their key campaign and advisory staffs from the Bush and Clinton administrations. There is so much money at stake in a national election that they select advisors who craft positions which draw in the most big money. You would think that an Obama campaign would have its own after knocking out Hillary Clinton in the primaries.

If Biden gets in, he gets Obama's machine. That means all his email lists, all his network, his advisers and his rolodex of money people. If Biden gets in, Hillary can't win. I would bet Bill is begging Joe to sit it out, but Biden's late son implored his dad to run while laying on his death bed. Powerful motivation indeed!

I'm a dyed in the wool conservative, but I'd vote for Biden over Bush. Bush is what is killing the GOP (not Trump).

A Trump presidency could possibly make a White-minoirty America relatively economically successful. Since I don't want that because I want the libtard support of open borders and racial diversity to go down in history as the primary cause of America's downfall, I really hope that he doesn't become president. I want the libtards to be in control of America as it continues to turn into a 3rd world communist cesspit. America's collapse will serve as the ultimate testament to the failures of modern progressive ideology.

Look at South Africa pre and post apartheid. Nuclear power with a 1st world economy pre-apartheid. 2nd-world economy and falling fast post-apartheid. Taking land from the White farmers and giving it to backwards savages that didn't know how to grow crops until the Dutch and British civilized them a 150 years ago. You'd think they would have learned from the Rhodesian experience. Going from the bread basket of Africa that exported all types of food staples to Europe and the Middle East to a 3rd world hell hole with 3000% inflation and constant civil unrest after the Whites got run out (or brutally murdered).

It gets even worse. You'd think that all of the examples of mud people taking over an advanced White society and ruining it would wake White people up. And you'd at least expect for the White refugees from these collapsed and niggerized societies to wake up. But that hasn't been happening. Most of these White refugees continue to remain loyal libtards that despise White racists like me that are just trying look out for them.

That's one of the strongest testaments to the insane amount of anti-racist brainwashing that White people have been put through over the last few decades. I fear that even the collapse of America won't wake up White people. They'll just keep letting it happen over and over again.

You'll notice that the main group attacking Trump is the republican party.

Hillary should be doing everything she can do to get Trump the nomination. People may like what Trump is saying but no way will they elect a loose tongue drunken sailor type.

I'll call it as old school republicans for Bush, hardcore tea party rednecks for Trump and reasonable republicans for Christie.

Plenty of Democrats and independents aren't fans of illegals and the sanctuary bullshit either. An overwhelming majority of Americans when polled in an objective way. Trump's a dumbass but the appeal of that message goes way beyond tea party rednecks.

In fact a bunch of them whose loved ones were killed by illegals were with Trump just the other day in the press conference carried by CNN where they told their stories. None of them looked like tea party rednecks. They were black, Hispanic, well-educated upper-middle class whites, and a cross-section of others. Anderson Cooper and the left-side talking heads assembled to provide commentary were left without much to say other than it was rather compelling.

People may not vote for him on that basis, but the issue and message has much more broad and stronger appeal than just among rednecks.

The fun part is watching him try and:

1) The other GOP candidates fielding questions about Trump's latest bombast; and,

2) The destructive effect that the Trump campaign is having of the GOP brand (such that it is). Really, who needs Herman Cain when you've got Captain Combover?

There are a number of people within the Republican party who are really pissed off, and Trump's no filter rhetoric appeals to them. He's got name recognition and money, and doesn't care what others think so long as he seems to be advancing towards his goals.
