If you'd actually read the article, you'd know that it nowhere says that Hillary started the birther rumor. It says, vaguely, that some "Hillary supporters" (who?) started an email chain claiming that Obama was born in Kenya.
It's the idiot teabagger birthers and other idiots like Trump who made the story into an "issue" and ran with it for four years.
