That 100% depreciation expensing at the end of the year works great. You get a full years deduction for a car you've owned for less than a week.

This is what happens after the uneducated and uninformed elect Republican Job Killers to a majority in Congress - economic slowdown.

When are those 10 years of temporary Bush Tax Cuts going to trickle down, stimulate the economy, and create job growth?

Mark my words - this is another sign of the great recession 2.0 that will occur next year at this time. The Fed will increase the short rates, resulting in an inverted yield curve (or at least flattening) and the spurting you hear will come to a stop. The stock market will drop 15% between now and next year and the long bond will continue to remain low due to the fed propping coming to the end.

If the Republican Confederates in Congress had worked with Obama on job creation, stimulating the economy, and raising taxes on the wealthy and businesses - things would be going a whole lot better.

Instead we get Government shutdown, sequester, and a trickle of Government spending for years on end.

GOP drivel = Economic fizzle.

The only conclusion - Republicans hate America and suck at economics.

After the first time Obama extended the tax cuts, they became the obama tax cuts.

Thats including Bush's great recession of economic contraction? I would think so because you're a shameless deceptive rightard.

If so, 1.8 percent growth throughout his presidency is an amazing accomplishment.

Here's some more amazing accomplishments for Barry

Poverty rate: Approx 50 million Americans live below poverty line
Public assistance: 109,631,000 (35.4%) Americans are on some sort of public welfare
Unemployed blacks: 11.4%
Black children born to single mothers (2014)- 72%

Amazing!

No, it's not impressive. It's pitiful. And I was mistaken. It's actually 1.2% with the latest quarter. On a GDP per capita basis it's -0.42. Suckpassed only by Herbert Hoover.

For comparison:
George W. Bush, 1.7%
George H.W. Bush, 2.1%
Gerald Ford, 2.2%
Dwight Eisenhower, 2.5%
Richard Nixon, 3.0%
Jimmy Carter, 3.2%
Ronald Reagan, 3.5%
Bill Clinton, 3.8%
Lyndon B. Johnson, 5.0%
John F. Kennedy, 5.4%

And I doubt that you'll want to credit Bush for the dot com crash handed to him by Clinton or the 9/11 recession which happened back-to-back.

what is new is USA in the news for this kind of trouble

in the 1980's china was just planning to get sky scrapers: they now have cities 10x as many people as NYC - BIG, many sky scrapers.

many countries were still huring from world war really.

even in early 1990's europe (italy, germany, poland!) were calling america the devil for not having the financial problems they had (ie, $12/gal gas)

they found a way around it: sit out on USA - walk in and sit down in USA and refuse to leave, and use gov jobs to funnel money back to their broke countries, ie, use gov contracts (which parliamentary countries sap) to make USA buy their countries exports.

---------------------------
china had what was it %10 growth for the longest time

japan - frequently news that central loaning system was in trouble

USA today: %.2 is disgusting

but look back much of it was bull. italy has a huge lively gov now cheaper gas. and germany. and china. and mexico.

allot of it was crying wolf. in the 80's some of those countries still owed USA on loans - and who likes paying ?

-----------------------
but gov workers didn't experience %.2 , only private workers did

gov workers had %300 to %1500 growth

and that you CAN thank obama.gov for

The biggie will be when the housing supply comes back on the market by 2017. The private equity funds bought up the government foreclosures and converted them to rentals for 5 years. Also, in late 2012, the states and courts required the banks to hold off completing foreclosures for 2-3 years and offer loan modifications.

If you haven't made money hand-over-fist in the market since spring of 2009, you're doing it wrong. The S&P500 more than tripled from 683 to 2100+ in only six years. All the other bullshit in the financial world is just noise. Gee, thanks, Obama.

Wall Street ignores Obama other than hoping that he doesn't do anything (else) stupid.

It's the Fed's open spigot that's floated the market.
